So, who's this E-Dude?

E-Dude.org is the domain for me, Tycho Eggen.

I'm a nearly 29 year old guy living in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

My current employer is Ultimum, where I work as a Datacommunications consultant.
Consultancy in this context is that I'm employed by Ultimum and placed at customers, instead of being self-employed.
(How the rest of the world knows consultants.)

When I'm not working, I've got a few hobbies as well :)

Because computers are something of a hobby that got out of hand, a lot of it is to do with computers.
I'm quite an avid World of Warcraft player (for those of you interested, I've only got one level 70, a druid).
Aside from that, I do some computer programming, mainly using the PHP language, but not restricted to just PHP.
I'm currently working on a standard for a framework, which I'll explain in a separate post.

Aside from computers, I also like to snowboard, but unfortunately I don't do that enough, but I've got plans for next season!
And I'm a very big fan of a certain festival here in Holland called Lowlands!

Ofcourse, it's not all computers, because there's a very special girl in my life as well! :)
She goes by the name of Genevieve, she's British and lovely :)

Unfortunately, due to circumstances, we're not living together at the moment.
The plans are there though.

Furthermore, I live with 2 very cool cats, Nala and Fergie.
For those of you wondering, Nala her name is derived from the movie The Lion King and Fergie her name is based on Sarah Ferguson.

Last, but not least, I've got a very nice group of friends, most of the guys work in IT or IT-related jobs and most of us go to Lowlands every year.
